Angi Super Service Award 2025

Omni-Roof Received a 2025 Angi Super Service Award

Omni-Roof earned a 2025 Angi Super Service Award for our roof repair work in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. I wanted to write a little about what that award is, what it isn't, and what it means for the way we work.

What the Angi Super Service Award is

Angi is the site where homeowners leave reviews for contractors, everyone from plumbers to roofers. They've been giving out the Super Service Award since 1999.

A company can't buy it. It's based on the reviews customers left on Angi over the prior year. For the 2025 award, that was reviews collected from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025. To qualify, a company had to:

  • Keep a current and lifetime rating of at least 4.5 stars on Angi
  • Stay in good standing with Angi's screening, which covers things like licensing and insurance
  • Get consistent good feedback on price, professionalism, punctuality, and the quality of the work

So really, the award came from the people who took a few minutes to write about their experience with us. If you're one of them, thank you. That matters a lot to a small, owner-run company.

What we actually do every day

The award doesn't change the work. Most days it's the same job it's always been: find where the water is getting in, fix that, and tell you straight if something bigger is going on.

Around here that usually means:

  • Flashing that's pulled away at a chimney, wall, or vent
  • Flat roofs on rowhomes with open seams or clogged drains
  • Missing or cracked shingles after a windstorm
  • Cracked or slipped slate on older homes
  • Chimney crowns and mortar that freeze-thaw has worn down
  • Gutters that overflow and soak the roof edge and fascia

I've been roofing for over 24 years and have worked on thousands of Baltimore homes. That's where I learned how many different roofs this area has, from city rowhomes to slate in Roland Park to ranchers out in the county. You can read more about us here, and see the kinds of roof repairs we do.

Other ways to check us out

An award is one data point. If you're picking a roofer, I'd look at a few things together:

  • Reviews on more than one site. We're BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and our Angi reviews are public for anyone to read.
  • The MHIC license. In Maryland, home improvement contractors need one. Ours is MHIC #154344, and you can look it up on the state's site.
  • Licensed and insured. Ask for proof of insurance before anyone gets on your roof.
  • How they explain things. A good roofer should be able to show you pictures of the problem and tell you in plain words what they want to fix and why.

If you want a better idea of what to ask, our roofing FAQs cover a lot of the questions people call us with.

Thanks again

We're proud of this one because it came from customers, not from us. We'll keep doing the work the same way: repairs first, honest answers, and pictures so you can see what we see.

If you've got a leak, a chimney question, or something on the roof you're not sure about, text your address and a few pictures to 443-900-4815 or give us a call. MHIC #154344.
